A big problem that college graduates have is understanding how to dress dress professionally for a job. Looking the part in an interview and while working in a professional environment can be the deciding factor of getting the job or the promotion. If you like wearing sneakers, combat boots, and etc... it's okay, just save your personal style for outside of work. Here are a couple of looks that will be good for interviews and work. Incorporating your personal style in a professional environment is okay, it just takes the right accesories and shoes to still be you without looking unprofessional.
The Interview:
      
Lets be honest, for an interview you want to make sure you keep it basic. A nice navy suit is great for an interview. It is a basic necessity in a professional wardrobe. Pairing the suit with a nice light blue shirt and black heels gives you a managerial feel. Adding the gold earrings and watch polishes your look. The burgundy bag just spices up the outfit slighty.
Daily - The black suit:
       
Every woman needs a basic black suit but chaning up the accessories, shirts, and shoes will add a pop of color and personal style to your suit. *Make sure you chose shirts under your jacket that will look good off, just in case it gets a little stuffy at your work place*.
Casual Friday:
       
On casual Friday's it can be very easy to incorprate your personal style. This is a great simple idea to dress for casual Friday. The goal is to still look professional without looking too casual. Blazers and cardigans with a khaki pant or skirt keeps you looking professional. To add personal style to the outfit you can play with different colors and styles for the the cardigan and blazer. Shoes also gives you the ability to add personal style. Opt for flats, loafers or other shoes that are clean and business casual if you are not going to be wearing heels. Some companies will allow jeans and sneakers but to be on the safe side, your first week at work, keep it as professional as possible until you see how other females are dressing for casual Friday.
