Welcome Blue Ivy Carter

We know we weren't the only ones anxiously awaiting baby Blue Ivy's arrival to the world. On January 7, 2012, Jay-Z and Beyonce welcomed their new baby girl into the Carter family.

Not too long after Blue Ivy's birth photos were released of Beyonce out and about showing off her perfect post-pregnancy body. We didn't expect to see pictures of their precious bundle of joy for a long time, but the long wait came a lot sooner than we expected. The proud mother and father shared photos of their beautiful baby girl last Friday on a Tumblr totally dedicated to her.

On Tumblr there is a handwritten note from the Carter family welcoming everyone to share in their joy and thanking everyone for respecting their privacy.
